Usage Alerts

You can set up email and/or SMS text message alerts to notify you (and others of your choosing) when your vessel’s data usage reaches certain thresholds. To set up these alerts, go to the Data Usage page of KVH Manager and select Manage Alerts.

Note: Usage alerts only apply if you are on a monthly allowance plan.

Set alerts to trigger at various percentages of your plan's monthly allowance, as well as at increments of overage. Once you have set your alerts, select Manage Recipients and enter the email address(es) and/or phone number(s) that should receive these alerts.

IMPORTANT! Plan usage calculations are not final until monthly billing is complete. Therefore, alerts are provided as a courtesy only to assist you in managing your data usage.
