At this time, one tool is available for terminals – Reboot. Select to reboot the Starlink terminal. A timer will count down three minutes while the command is in process. Once complete, the text window will show "Reboot done!"
Router
Select the Starlink Wi-Fi router of the desired terminal to access tools for that router. Routers are identified by the last four digits of the associated Starlink terminal ID.
You can the following Wi-Fi router settings at the Wi-Fi tab:
- Enable or disable the built-in Wi-Fi
- Change the SSID (network name)
- Change the Wi-Fi password
Don't forget to your changes.
Why Is My Router Missing?
Your Starlink Wi-Fi router might not be listed in KVH Manager for the following reasons:
- The Starlink router is powered off or disconnected.
- The Starlink router has not reported a configuration setting.
- The Starlink router is set to Bypass mode.
Note: Bypass mode is required when connecting Starlink to a KVH TracNet H-series, Coastal Pro, or TracPhone HTS-series system for hybrid connectivity.
If your Starlink Wi-Fi router is powered up and connected, and it is not connected to a KVH antenna system for hybrid connectivity, contact KVH Airtime Services to confirm that your router is not set to Bypass mode. KVH can also initiate an immaterial configuration change on the router to help drive its reporting to KVH Manager.
