Usage Timeline

The Usage Timeline in KVH Manager shows the usage of your VSAT connection over time, in both uplink (ship-to-shore) and downlink (shore-to-ship) directions, and over both High-speed and Unlimited Use channels. Select a channel and a desired time range (choose a day or week) to plot the graph for that period. Each point along the graph represents the aggregate data, including any VoIP data, that was transferred within that particular block of time, spanning 5 minutes in DAY view, 30 minutes in WEEK view. Hover over any point on the graph to view the actual amounts of data that were transferred in uplink and downlink directions during that span.

"Shaped" usage indicates periods when traffic shaping was enabled, if applicable (refer to your data plan for details). If the selected time range includes any shaped usage, you can export a CSV file listing all the traffic shaping events that were logged during that time.
