KVH Basic Email

The free single-user KVH Basic Email Service allows you to send and receive emails reliably both at sea and in port. A cloud-based server stores all your emails in a 10 GB mailbox and blocks spam and malware. 

Note: KVH also offers an email solution for fleets that supports multiple users. See KVH Cloud Email. 

Creating Your New Email Account

Follow these steps to create your KVH Basic Email account:

1. Go to the Plan Detail page.
2. Select Enable Email.
3. Enter a name, username, and password for your new email account. Then select Enable Email.
4. Set up the email client on your computer or mobile device as explained in Email Client Setup.

Resetting Your Email Password

If you forget your password or would like to change it, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Plan Detail page.
2. Under Email Address, select Reset.
3. Enter your new password. Then select Update.

Note: You cannot repeat either of your last two passwords.
